This work was written for my teacher, Tim White. It represents my life’s journey through music – being confused about which pathway to take; never being able to choose just one path. This all changed however when Tim took me in and helped me to find my full potential through percussion: where I finally feel that I’ve found myself in music. This work illustrates my journey – and it’s my way of attempting to give back to him everything he has given to me.
